Learning body parts is an important part of a toddler's language and brain development. What better way to teach body parts than through a song?

How To

What You'll Need:

  • Your bodies and voices!

 

With your toddler in front of you, touch the corresponding parts of your body and your toddler's body as you sing:

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes
Knees and toes
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes
Knees and toes
Eyes and ears and mouth and nose
Head, shoulders, knees, and toes
Knees and toes!

You can take your toddler's hands and have him touch the correct body parts as you sing too. Repeat the song. Don't forget to be silly with it too!
